KURU 89.1 Silver City Community Radio Interview with Jeff

This past June, I was interviewed by hosts Scott Plate and Cyril Nalty for their ‘Laugh, Breathe, Heal’ radio show on KURU 89.1 FM, the community radio station in Silver City, New Mexico. In the 59 minute interview, we chatted about the importance of not leading a person, but holding space for them to find their own answers. I shared that CranioSacral Therapy is a client-directed, rather than therapist-directed modality and can be very empowering for someone that feels that the medical community has given up on them, or has been unable to help. Much of the medical model that we participate in, focuses more on what is wrong with us rather than encouraging the potency of our own inner resources.

We discussed the importance of silence in a world that asks so much of our time and attention. In this quiet place, we are more able to discover, rediscover, or recover the connection to our own inner wisdom. When we allow ourselves to drop into that quiet place, we access “artifacts” in our tissue that may hold keys to a deeper sense of self discovery and healing. As we access this deep, quiet rhythm, our original rhythm, what can happen goes far beyond the limitations that so many of us have been conditioned to operate within.

Thanks again to Scott and Cyril for the interview.

I hope you take a listen and enjoy!
